Curt is Chief Executive Officer and Board Chair of Top Notch. Curt has over 35 years experience in business, most in the building and building materials industry. While Curt is no longer on premises day to day, he is still very involved in project and business research and community relationship building and corporate direction. Curt acts as a sounding board for all the individuals on the management team as well as presiding officer at team meetings. |

Linda Knapp
Linda Knapp, along with her husband
Curt Knapp, co-founded Top Notch in 1987. In 16 years it has grown from a
$600,000 home center to a $4,500,000 building material dealer with land
development, finance, and installed sales divisions. Curt still serves as
general manager, which means his customers are your sales and service
representatives.
Linda takes care of our accounts payable, payroll, and professional
functions. She also oversees the company's finance business and closes real
estate transactions. Curt and Linda have the business because they love
helping people they work with, the people who serve you. As team leaders,
they love to help make your dreams a reality. Together they have nearly 50
years in the industry. |

George Doty is our warehouse
manager. George has nearly 15 years at Top Notch and runs a tight ship. He

John Behn
John oversees and implements the Custom Builder programs that help our custom builder clients grow and prosper their respective businesses. Paul Shippy
Paul has 14 years experience in the building materials industry. Upon graduation from Augustana College, Paul started as a counter salesman, has outside sales experience and has moved through purchasing, expense control and is now Chief Operating Officer at Top Notch. As such Paul is responsible for overseeing all phases of the operations and for day to day operations training for all personnel. Paul has a board position and is instrumental for corporate direction as well. Paul is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration at Rockford College. Adam Viel
Adam is our cabinet and floor covering specialist. Adam's patient demeanor and attention to detail make him a perfect fit for this work.
